Understanding Processing Status
Learn what each processing state means
Episodes go through several states as PodRewind processes them.
Processing States
Episodes show one of these statuses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Queued | Episode is waiting in the processing queue |
| Processing | Episode is actively being processed |
| Completed | Episode is fully processed and searchable |
| Failed | An error occurred during processing |
Processing Steps
When processing, episodes go through these steps (shown in the progress indicator):
- Transcribe - AI generates the transcript from audio
- Analyze - AI identifies and labels speakers
- Complete - Processing finishes and content becomes searchable
Typical Processing Time
Most episodes complete processing in about 5 minutes, regardless of length. This includes:
- Audio download and storage
- Transcription
- Speaker identification
Troubleshooting
If an episode shows Failed status:
- Check if the audio file is accessible
- Try re-processing the episode
- Contact support if the issue persists
